Hauntings, Hobnobs and the Stories That Refuse to Stay Buried

At Trinder & Trinder Productions, one of the things we love most is helping people tell great stories.

Whether it's through live events, interviews, radio, or podcasts, we're passionate about creating engaging content that entertains, informs and connects with audiences. That's why we're particularly proud to be involved in the production of Hauntings and Hobnobs, a paranormal podcast hosted by international psychic medium Barrie John.

The concept is simple: take one fascinating historic location, add centuries of stories, a dash of folklore, a few unexplained happenings, and two people willing to explore it all over a cup of tea and a biscuit.

The result is a podcast that combines paranormal investigation, local history, storytelling and plenty of laughter along the way.

Exploring Some of Britain's Most Haunted Places

Each episode takes listeners inside locations with rich and sometimes unsettling histories. From castles and abbeys to historic buildings and forgotten corners of the country, we explore the stories that have lingered long after the people themselves have gone.

Recent episodes have featured investigations into locations including Nottingham Castle and Newstead Abbey, both places with centuries of fascinating history and more than a few tales of ghostly encounters.

Of course, whether you believe in ghosts is entirely up to you.

Barrie brings decades of experience as a psychic medium, while I bring what can best be described as enthusiastic "wannabe Ghostbuster" energy. Together, we ask questions, explore local legends and occasionally wonder whether that noise we just heard was the building settling... or something else entirely.

More Than Just a Ghost Podcast

While paranormal experiences are a big part of the show, Hauntings and Hobnobs is also about people, places and stories.

Many of Britain's historic locations have incredible tales hidden within their walls. The podcast explores the history, folklore and characters connected to these places, helping bring the past to life in an entertaining and accessible way.

So whether you're a believer, a sceptic, a history enthusiast, or simply someone who enjoys a good story, there's something for everyone.

Listen to Hauntings and Hobnobs

If you enjoy ghost stories, folklore, history, paranormal investigations or listening to two people gradually lose their nerve in allegedly haunted buildings, Hauntings and Hobnobs might be right up your street.
